Using Styles to Format Section Headings, Long Quotations, and the Body of the Paper.
1. When you are editing a document created with Dr Paper, the Dr Paper APA Styles
Toolbar can be displayed at the top of the document by clicking on the Word Addins tab:
2. You can also use the Word Styles menu. To display the Word Styles menu, click Home, Styles, and then
click the arrow.
All the Styles in the document will display in the list. When you click on any text in the document,
Word will highlight the Style for that text.
3. To type text in the correct format for a section level heading,
quotation, or body text, place the cursor in the line, and click the style
on the toolbar. Type the text.
When you press the Enter key, the Style will return to Body text.
In the Dr Paper Templates, APA Styles are set to 12 point Times New Roman, with the following settings:.
Body text
Double spaced text.
Title
Centered
Quotations
Indented, double spaced
References
Hanging indent, double spaced
Heading 1
Centered, Bold
Heading 2
Flush left, Bold
Heading 3
Italics, first line indented 5 spaces
